DID/DOD
DID (Direct Inward Dialing) is a service which consists in providing a block of telephone numbers for calling into a company's private branch exchange (PBX) system.

Using DID, a company can offer its customers individual phone numbers for each person or workstation within the company without requiring a physical line into the PBX for each possible connection. The PBX automatically switches a call for a given phone number to the appropriate workstation in the company. A PBX switchboard operator is not involved.

A DID system can be used for fax and voice mail as well as for live voice connections.

Eagle’s DID service routes incoming calls directly to stations, eliminating the need for an operator. It will save time and money for your business. With Eagle’s DID service used for fax routing, faxes are delivered by the network server to the client end-user as soon as they are received, ensuring privacy and fast delivery. DOD (Direct Outward Dial): An automated PBX service feature that provides for outgoing calls to be dialed directly from the user terminal.

Eagle’s DOD service provides an alternative route for your customers' outbound traffic. Using T1, it offers additional network protection.

VOICE OVER IP

Excellent voice quality and fast and reliable data transmissions are some of the basic features that you can expect from Eagle’s Voice over IP solutions.

Eagle’s VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology is highly scalable and reliable while remaining at a low cost.

We provide a bridge between the public telephone network and your data network. There are no changes in the way the user faxes or makes telephone calls. Since our VoIP technology utilizes your current telephones, fax machines, PBX's, routers, key telephone systems, LANS and WANS, you do not need to purchase new equipment to replace what you currently have.

IVR (Interactive Voice Response)
Eagle’s IVR Interactive Voice Response technology is designed to improve your level of customer service in a cost-effective manner in a wide range of industries (health care, hospitality, banking, etc. With IVR (Interactive Voice Response), your data has a "voice". By using the touch tones on your telephone keypad, you can request, manipulate, sometimes even modify data that resides on a database at a remote location.

Typical applications are:
•Checking movies schedules by phone
•Checking bank account information by phone
•Checking airline reservations by phone
•Tracking a parcel delivery

The technology is "Interactive" because the user is prompted for information by the IVR system. For example, in a banking by phone application, the IVR system will ask you to enter your account number from the telephone keypad. After you enter your number, the IVR interacts with you further by giving you additional options. You are indeed "Responding" to the IVR system’s "Voice". Thus, the name "Interactive Voice Response".

IVR is a valuable business tool. An IVR system acts like a customer service representative who accesses information from a computer and tells the requested information to a caller over the telephone. As your voice processing requirements increase, Eagle’s IVR systems' design accommodates new features and performance upgrades through incremental enhancements. This saves your company money because you can add applications as you need them, without having to buy another system.

VPN (Virtual Private Network)

Virtual private networks (VPNs) represent the future of remote access. Remote Access is the process by which branch offices, mobile workers and home-office workers connect to office computing resources. VPN can help you control costs if most of your remote workers now connect back to your company computing networks using long distance networks. The main advantage of using an Eagle’s VPN-based remote access and networking solution is the ability to simplify networks, running voice, fax and data over a single, integrated transmission network. This leads to substantial savings on long distance telephone calls and fax transmissions.
